Terms of Use
Last updated 1 August 2026
These terms govern your use of this website. By browsing it, submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Information on this site
Everything published here, including articles in Insights, project descriptions and guidance on fees and timescales, is provided for general information. It is not structural engineering advice for any particular building and must not be relied upon as such. Structural advice is given only under a written appointment, following a survey of the building in question.
Enquiries and quotations
Fee ranges and turnaround times described on this site are indicative. A quotation becomes binding only when issued in writing by Diagrid Engineering against a defined scope of work, and it remains open for thirty days from the date of issue. Submitting the quote form does not create a contract and places no obligation on either party.
Intellectual property
The text, drawings, photographs, sketches and design of this site belong to Diagrid Engineering or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish or adapt any part of the site commercially without written consent.
Project material
Projects are published with the consent of the client concerned. Some images are illustrative of the type of work described rather than photographs of the specific building. Dimensions, tonnages and dates are given in good faith and rounded.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of error. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Diagrid Engineering is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where we link to other sites, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Questions about these terms
Does browsing the site create an engagement?+
No. An engagement begins only when a written appointment is signed against an agreed scope and fee.
Can I quote an article in my planning submission?+
You may cite it with attribution, but a planning authority will want advice specific to your building, which means a structural statement issued under appointment.
Will these terms change?+
They may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
